My Appalachian heritage is not just a part of my past; it’s the foundation of who I am today. Born with deep roots in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky, I’ve always felt a strong connection to the spirit of Letcher and Pike County. These lands aren’t just where I grew up—they’re where my heart and soul were shaped. Even when my family had to move when I was ten because of my dad’s job, first to Versailles and then to Nicholasville, Kentucky, I carried the essence of those mountains with me. The Bluegrass region, with its rolling hills, thoroughbred horses, and unforgettable sunsets, is beautiful in its own way, but nothing will ever compare to the rugged beauty of the Kentucky mountains that I’ll forever call home.
Music has been more than just a hobby or a pastime—it’s been my guiding light. Since I was a little girl, I’ve felt its pull, like a force drawing me in. I can still remember my earliest memories filled with the sounds of the 60s and 70s. Elvis Presley was the King at my Mamaw’s house. Jim Croce’s heartfelt songs played on repeat, and we all knew every lyric by heart. Our home and car rides were never without the harmonies of The Eagles, the captivating rhythms of Fleetwood Mac, and the enchanting voice of Stevie Nicks, who will forever be my Queen.
Growing up along the Country Music Highway, I found my true inspiration in the powerful women of Eastern Kentucky who came before me. Icons like Loretta Lynn, Patty Loveless, and Wynonna Judd have paved the way for artists like me, showing what it means to tell a story with authenticity, grace, and fire. Their legacies are more than just music; they’re blueprints for how to stay true to your roots while reaching out to the world. Today, artists like Chris Stapleton, Zack Bryan, and Tyler Childers continue to inspire me, their sounds echoing the spirit of home that I try to weave into my own music. Their voices resonate with the same mountains that call to me, creating a bridge between tradition and our future.
I owe everything to God, who has blessed me beyond measure and filled my life with the gift of music when I needed it most. In my most vulnerable moments, music has been my refuge, my source of strength, and my way of making sense of the world around me. It is a privilege to share these songs with you, each one a piece of my journey, my pain, my joy, and my love. I hope that as you listen, they speak to you in the same way they have always spoken to me—deeply, honestly, and straight from the heart.

I owe an immense debt of gratitude to Jeff Branham of Branham Productions in Pikeville, whose belief in me made my debut album a reality. It’s been a thrill to collaborate with incredibly talented musicians from Eastern Kentucky, including Jeff (keys/piano/organ), Mark Stephens (guitar), and Ray Salyer (bass). Johnathan Presnell (drums) even traveled all the way from Nashville, TN, to record with me. Recording alongside Grammy Award-winning engineer Jim Price was an unforgettable honor. Working with this incredible team has elevated my talent and helped me turn the music I envisioned into songs I’m truly proud of, and I believe you’ll love them too. If I’m ever blessed to be nominated for a Grammy or CMA award, these guys are coming with me!
